Belief makes little sense when it comes to science.You don't believe that the earth is round,you KNOW that it is round.Also every claim made by the ancient astronaut theory is found to be false or lacking evidence.If it were true then it would be an accepted scientific theory.Science is not some sort of a club.Just because a few so called scientists believe in this theory says nothing,many scientists believe evolution is wrong many so called scientists claim that the earth is less than 10,000 years old and some even say that the earth is flat.
The whole point of being an atheist is to be rational.You can't believe in this pseudoscientific nonsense and claim to be rational.Just because science can't explain something yet doesn't mean we make up alternate baseless explanations.That is exactly like a religious person saying,can't explain it so god did it.Also whatever explanations or evidence you may have dug up has already been refuted.If it were true then today it would be a known scientific fact yet it's not.The only way you can defend this is by saying that it's a big scientific cover up.
There are thousands of conspiracy theories and many lies on the internet which claim to give you evidence but this evidence is fallacious.Don't fall victim to these lies.
