I'm a medical student.........my worst college is providing wifi that too for high cost.........1500/- for 1mbps FUP-15gb.........so i would like to take connection fr my phone(which is cheap and no fup) and get it connected to laptop.


is there any procedure which makes use of internet through wifi on phone to connect to laptop......we cant use hotspot while wifi is on........so any idea pals?????

thanks for ur reply.......but in that video......it uses 3G and then usb thethering is done.......i need to know that....i want to connect the internet in phone through wifi and use that phone's wifi to connect to my lappy

wifi tethering can be done in android phones easily it will make ur phone as hotspot

i'm not asking about wifi tethering dude.......even i know that............i have a wifi network.........i want to take connection for my phone.........becoz installation and charges for connection to laptop are costly........so i want to take wifi connection to my phone and make use of that in my laptp.....how can i do that........becoz if i use wifi in ma phone.....i cant use tethering.....either wifi or tethering can be used at once.....

cant use phone connection in ma lappy becoz they are binding the ip adress and mac adress of phone.....

so any idea how to connecgt to laptop???

lol... just enable wi-fi hotspot on your phone. that's the only quick way around.

i am not sure if you can provide your laptop's mac address in the guise of phone's mac address but they might catch you. mac address are tied to ethernet cards.

there are software to change your ethernet card's mac address. try that to mimic your phone's mac address. but authorities may catch you :p

u cant use both at same time becoz ur antenna either receiving signal or broadcasting it it cant do both at same time

please make your situation clear with the right terminology and diagram if possible. I don't think anyone really understand your problem.
