Suggest Inverter Battery?
I already have a local-made inverter of 1000W and till now I used to buy 2 local batteries(no idea about their AH capacity, according to that dealer 1000W inverter requires two batteries)..now they are dead again and I am planning to do some research instead of blindly buying from that local dealer...So guys please suggest battery (AH and what cost) branded or otherwise which you think has best value for money. And does 1000W inverter really requires 2 batteries or only one battery can do the job?
Usual load:1 TV,3 Fans,5 Tubelights ,(sometime 1Laptop) Backup time: 3-4 hours straight Last edited by ahit : 1st August 2012 at 11:11 PM. |

yes, 1 kVA inverter needs at least 2 batteries.
usually, people go for the same make of batteries as their inverter is, but in your case it's a nameless inverter. 1) if you have plenty of money, then go for tubular batteries by either exide or luminous. they come with 4-yr warranty. 2) if money is a concern then, go for non-tubular exide or luminous batteries with 3 yrs warranty. rating could be from 120 to 160 mAh. |

Exide is a best Battery for Inverter as well as other purpose too. Go to your near shop and find out.

i would suggest to change your invertor as well. go for Luminous Inverter (1KVA) with 2 Exide tubular batteries.
