Do i need to keep my PC on for Wifi to Work ??
Do I need to keep my pc on for my wifi to work.. ?

The way i connect to internet is through a login software provided by my interenet provider... i need to enter my id and password in the software to connect to internet.. its similar to dial up....

so my query is.. if i connect a wifi router in between.. and i want to access internet through WIFI on my Tablet.. do i need to keep my PC on after logging into the internet or can i shut down my pc once i connect the tablet to internet ??

Else call ur ISP to make the connection direct. My bother has done the same way and i can use wifi on my mobile w/o any login. Just save the wifi password, that's it.

thnx mate.. will try the first option as soon as i buy Wifi.. if that doesnt work then will try to deal with those Gr8-Newtons working at my ISPs...

You can also check if your wifi router has the option of saving the broadband username and password and connect automatically, so then you don't even need to turn on the PC to connect to the internet.
