click start and type cmd in the box. when the cmd.exe icon appears in the above box under "programs" right click and select run as administrator.

Type "chkdsk x:" where x is your drive letter. This should hopefully solve ur problem

If it shows RAW, it means that your drive is unformatted. No use in doing checkdisk. Should format it first.
If you are lucky, your lil bro may not have damaged your hard disk. If the disk is damaged, the formatting wont complete.

Use this software for testing ur hard drive, check ur hard drive is healty or not.. if its fail u need to replace ur hdd...
