It's all economical dear, making money that's all.
For example; just see the complaints registered against Reliance(netconnect+) in consumercourt.in. These network providers doesn't care about service, they just want to make a lot of money.

I think this won't change for a long while if this kind of economic conditions taking head.

to mean economical i am referring to the fact that there is huge demand and why not other companies invest or make effort to fill in the gap ithey could be earning in millions


i wonder why there is so much competition for the mobile phone service providers about prices why not abt the broadband

There is a slight demand, but that has nothing to do with bandwidth.
Other companies are not making effort bcoz the companies that are providing service will do all it means to stop them.

Do another search, India in very far from countries providing high-speed broadband.

It's is not that india can't provide, it is that its not willing to provide.

If ur connection is slow, you can speed it but u have to spend a bucket full of money to get it(They won't provided it unlimited, * conditions apply)
