First of all, it's good that you are aware of the root cause- addiction to masturbation. Quite often people are clueless as to what their problems are.
Solution: I don't agree with deleting porn. It'll be just a temporary solution. You'll get back to the old ways in a few days time. In all probability 12 years of masturbation has trained your brain to do it without any visual stimulation. When alone you just do it without any strong urges and later regret. You also tend to procrastinate a lot. Correct? I guess your parents never cared you enough as a child.. as in they never took you to social gatherings and provided enough opportunities to interact with others. Thus you found solace in masturbation and slowly it took over and transformed you into a loner with low self confidence and will power. Unfortunately there is no easy solution. Somehow you need to gather strength to take tiny steps in the correct direction. But always keep in mind that the job is as simple as keeping down the testosterone level in your blood. After all, these urges are mainly hormonal in nature. Don't misunderstand this with the hormonal imbalance that naturally occurs with age. Yours is a different case. As many people suggested, get out of the house. Never stay alone. Two things that will definitely help: 1. Listening to music at high volumes. It helps to distract your thoughts. Carry the mp3 player wherever you go and keep the earphones plugged in. This might seem silly, but I'd suggest heavy metal if you're into it. 2. To get out this situation, you need to start feeling good about yourself and there is no better way than hitting the gym. Do not make the mistake of joining a gym far from your house. Exercise releases seretonin, commonly referred to as the 'happy hormone', which improves one's general mood. Lift heavy weights and let the muscles feel the pain. Also go for jogging in the morning. Both these will result in sound sleep and the other happy hormone melatonin will kick in. End result is you'll feel much better about yourself which is exactly what we want. If you haven't applied for SSC, do it ASAP. Last date is today, April 17. As for UPSC, I assume you are referring to the civil services exam on May 20. See if you can find someone preparing for the exam or whether it's possible to spend time in the coaching institute during the day. I guess this song applies to you. If you commit Suicide it wont stop this problem, it will only for time being defer it. You will take new birth and suffer with interest. Moreover you may miss something imp in your new birth due to suicide you committed.
e.g if a person commits suicide and has parents who depend on him, in next birth this person wont have parents, he will be an orphan. e.g if you committed suicide and have small children who depend on u then in next birth u wont have children and u will always see around that others have kids but u dont. This is done to u so that u understand that by committing suicide, u only thought about urself and not about others who love u. In addition to above things, the main issue due to which u committed suicide will haunt u back but this time it will be more intense. If u feel whatever I have said is funny then you are laughing on law of karma, as u reap u sow. So forget suicide as a solution as its not a solution. Try google and find ways to handle this. May be my suggestion is entirely different what other suggest.
I was also in Delhi Mukherjee Nagar Area 5 years back. Tumharapadne mein man nahi lagta hai kto ki larki ka khyaal aata hai. Mera manana hai tu 1 week Padai chordkar Larki ke peeche chala jaa. 1 week ke baad jab larki se bore ho jayega tab automatically wapas aa jayega aur UPSC ki preparation bhi sahi chalegi. Batra Cinema roz jaya karo. You can see so many Lafoo as well scholars. You will fill better |

i think u r spending more time than usual in library ,,,relax,go 4 a movie,read news paper ,have faith in yourself, smile, "civil service times may ,april edition " read., if u are feeling tensed go to bus stop and sit ther as if u r waiting for a bus; see pple pass by ,running behind busses, school going children carrying big bags to schoools,think like this " hw much more time and energy this children will take to reach to a position u r in r8 now "... u need a bit of luck and also gods grace to clear upsc , hear some old infact very old songs like-bhaharon phool barsao (hindi),yeh dil na hotha bechara(hindi),manathae kayalil manalpurathu innoru thamara kali thoni ( malayalam) ,kabhi kabhi merae dil mein (hindi),zindagi ek safar (hindi)..

Masturbation takes you out of these thoughts for a while and that's why you do it repeatedly. If you manage to eliminate these negative thoughts, you're depression would drastically be reduced and you'll find you have automatically stopped compulsive masturbation. How to eliminate those thoughts and feelings that lead to those thoughts is the big question. PM me, I'll tell you about some resources. (I'm not sure if that would be allowed here in the forum.) |
