Hi Friends,
My age is 25 now... I want to get your advice on a very serious issue of my life.

I have messed my educational life a lot... I am 12th pass in 2004 and till now I haven't been able to get a Degree . I did get admission to BCS that time but I didn't take it seriously and took gap.. then my mind was diverted to work and earn money... Since then I am working in as DTP operator and graphic designer.. Meanwhile I wanted to get career in Animation so I did Animation course but I could not succeed in that too..

Now after many years wasted, I realised that if I don't do it now then I can never do it.. I have much interest in computers, I was clever student and I can learn fast I developed interest in computers and programming field now. So I want to do BCA now.. But my problem is my age 25. What would you suggest me? Should I go for it.. I want to prepare for Govt. JObs.. like bank and state public service commission.. But I also want to secure future, so I decided BCA because even I fail in govt. jobs I can do job in private IT sector atleast.. I am very confused now.. Please suggest me . should I go for it or not.. Am I very over aged or still have a chance?

Yes I am working and willing to study as well. But I want to be sure that I am not wasting my hard earn money. And I will get some advantage out of that study. I already shy now to go college full time. So I am willing to get admission as external student or in open university... what will be better option?

You said you are clever and have interest in progrmming. This is the most important thing. Whatever field you decided to take, you should have interest. So you have interest. Thats good.

But on the other hand, you said you were poor in your studies in your early days. Now you have a job too. Will you be able to handle both at the same time ? If you are confident, go ahead.

So I am willing to get admission as external student or in open university... what will be better option?

I am not from India. So I do not know about this matter. Don't worry. Other members will defiantely help you on this.

Thanks a lot for encouragement ..
But you didn't say anything about my age... Will it be hard for me to find a job. because it will take 3 more years to complete .. and then I will be doing MCA immediately.. I will need to find job because I am not happy with current job and with current job... and I will face problem for marriage..

It is never too late for anything.

Job is a very important. So it is a must to choose a job which you will like. So go ahead and study.

You are not in your 30s or 40s.

25 is still young.

its never too late uday, search the ignou and other open universities sites u will get the course u want .

If your youth is a blunder, your manhood a struggle and old age a regret.
But the relieving fact is you have realized this fairly early in life as you are only 24.
Now apply yourself wholeheartedly and diligently anf get your degree through distance education.
