Bollywood's first superstar Rajesh Khanna passed away in Mumbai. He gave numerous hit films. But there are more facts than often talked about. Here is a lost of 10 facts you might not be are of.

1. In 1966, he played the role of Govind Bali in his debut Aakhri Khat. The film was India's official entry to Oscars.

2. He was also the playback singer in 7 films which includes Safar, Amar Prem and Sautan.

3. He produced and co-produced 6 films. The first was Mehboob ki Mehndi (1971) and the last was Barsaat (1995), which was the debut of his daughter Twinkle.

4. Opposite Mumtaz, he has worked in 8 blockbuster films.

5. In February 1992, he lent his voice for the stage play Caligula. Directed by Arun Kuckreja the play was based on a novel written by Albert Camus.

6. The 2000 TV serial Ittefaq was small screen debut for Rajesh Khanna.

7. In 2010 he appeared in his last feature film- Do Dilon ke Khel Me. It was his 159th film.

8. He played himself in the 1981 film Naseeb.

9 He has also been 'thanked' by the producers of 22 films that weer made from 1971 to 1989
