misleading info. Most of the Cars in NCR are of CNG module fitted and they work with absolute hassle-free. I think you are confused on LPG with CNG

I HAVE AN I 10 ON CNG IN DELHI
IT COST RS 250000 APPROX FITTED IN 2008
ON GAS OF RS 300 IN DELHI AT PRESENT IT RUNS APPROX 165 km ON AC
AS FAR AS PICKUP IT HAS TIMING ADVANCER AND LAMBDA FITTED SO YOU WONT BE ABLE TO FEEL ANY DIFFERENCE IT RUNS LIKE A PETROL
BTW NOW DIESEL IS A GOOD OPTION AS PRICE GAP Is ONLY OF RS 4 IN DELHI

the only problem is availability.
if you have lot of CNG bunks in areas where you drive most, then go for it

thanks for info. which kit u use.. & its name ?? Italian, Indian or Argentinian ? I'd go for same kit.

I enquired on LAMBDA but the CNG people told me that LAMBDA is not required, only ADVANCER is used.

Did u paid Rs.25k with RC endorsement ?

TomcatRR is an unknown quantity at this point
Tried all these things conversions are not very successfull. Either go in for a co fitted CNG vehicle, or a diesel car.

In the present conditions with such rising prices it is better to get a CNG, it should cost somewhere under the 20K mark.

i own chevy optra 1.8 LT converted to open-loop CNG, lovato kit.
Had few issues in start like engine over-heating & misfire issue.
Over heating issue was fixed by changing the Gasket & few other required parts in engine bay.

Misfire issue is kinda fixed by changing the Spark plug, coil & cable which costed me about Rs. 6100 approx. (cable is extreme HIGH quality used in modified drag racing cars costing Rs 950/- per cable.

Basic best kit should be sequential cng kit in an electronically controlled car like optra, as the CNG fitments are car specific, FORD cars are not CNG recommended, Honda's, Chevy, Maruti etc n few other brands are CNG compatible.

In short, please google the information for cng fitment with which car you own.
If you planning to buy a new/used petrol/deisel car, best brands are Maruti & Honda's considering the price of spare parts too. Tata's are not famous for family owned vehicles, but duno why, cuz one of my close friend owns a tata indica top-model & its running quite good on petrol, he is occasional driver & converting to CNG he doesn't feel the need.

Hope i have answered few of you questions.
& yes my car runs on CNG but initial petrol start is mandatory required.

Open loop kit will cost around 25-32k & Sequential kit will cost you 50k+ upwards .. which depends where you put it from, if u want to know about open/closed/sequential refer to Google search for Sandeep CNG, his website will give you info. which car, mileage calculation, etc, link; http www cngfitting com/
