For short stay in India, why don't you opt for "rent a car facility". All models of cars are available with rent a car service providers. I have seen majority of NRIs are availing that facility in Kerala especially in Cochin

Might think about that. But the car is going be used by family in india as well while I am
Away . So buying is better.

corolla the 2003 2004 models were really good. corolla altis is not that good.
