What I meant to ask was the effectiveness of treatment for tetanus infection in an adult who is due for a booster shot now but neglects it and somehow gets the infection. Is it treatable in such cases when medical help is sought after the symptoms show up in this kind of patient? What is the mortality rate in such situations? 10 %, 50% or 90% ?

how can i comment on this without seeing the patient! its treatable now a days with advancement of medical science, but generalized tetanus causes dysrhythmias and even cardiac arrest, deaths, so please mention the sign and symptoms to know the prognosis of the disease.

1) TB is completely curable.
2) yes, it will be functioning like near normal with physiotherapy.

the pic u posted showing trigger finger, are u very much sure abt that diagnosis???
anyway,
1) if early go for ultrasonic wave therapy, contact any physiotherapist for that along with some pain medications,
2) if long standing either local steroid injection(hydrocortisone) or surgical splitting of sheath will relieve the pain.
